The Orange Outstanding Business Awards aim to encourage and celebrate professionalism, innovation, creativity, community contribution and the incredible diversity of local business and industry within the Orange region. The Awards provide the ideal platform to publicly recognise and reward excellence in business.

In 2011 the CGU Outstanding Business Awards will focus on celebrating the lifestyle and unique opportunities our region offers.

The Business Awards Committee has spent many hours improving the Excellence in Business categories after receiving feedback from both Chamber members and local business. It was suggested that the Business Award categories did not accurately reflect the mix of business and industry currently operating in the region.

The Business Awards Committee are offering two (2) sections for the 2011 Outstanding Business Awards with each section offering exciting new, revamped and renamed categories.

The categories offered in the 2011 Peoples’ Choice Awards are :

As the CGU Orange Outstanding Business Awards continue to grow in prestige, the Chamber has, again, organised two major functions to be held this year as part of the Awards to celebrate the achievements of Orange businesses.

The Finalist Party will be held on Tuesday, 20 September 2011 and the CGU Orange Outstanding Business Awards Gala Presentation Dinner which will be held at the Orange Function Centre on Saturday, 5November 2011.
